Back in 1998, I started taking my boys, age 6 and 9, to Cook Forest for a 10-day camping trip. My boys loved the endless supply of activities, and exploring all the wildlife, and I was completely blown away by the beauty, peace, and how wonderful the forest made me feel that our 10-day camping trip became a yearly event (as well as every weekend possible)! This (2011) was the first year since 1998, that we could not go. I was truly heart broken and the boys were very disappointed! Cook Forest is our "Heaven on earth"!!
